Admission Requirements and Conditions for Bachelor and Associate Degree
Each university has admission requirements and assigned seats through which to accept international students. The requirements for admission differ according to the university and the type, whether governmental or private. And many public universities implement an admission exam for international students called YÖS (Foreign Student Exam) and accept students through them, while another university accepts international students through the results of international exams such as (SAT, ACT, IB ect.) or only at the rate of high school diploma (Baccalaureate / Tawjihi / Atestat ect.) obtained by the student and all public universities depend on the process of selecting students according to their own terms through the special preference for international students.
Meanwhile, private universities only require a high school graduation certificate (Baccalaureate / Tawjihi / Atestat) and accept students directly without comparison or entrance examination.

Note: Since the applications are made online, your documents must be ready in PDF format. After receiving the acceptance, it is necessary to register to the university in person or by Power of attorney along with the originals of the documents at the final registration stage.

Admission Requirements and Conditions for Masters and Ph.D. Degrees
Graduate programs in Turkey include master’s, Ph.D. and specialization programs in medicine programs. Each university has special admission requirements and seats for international students. Therefore, the admission requirements differ according to the university and its type, whether governmental or private.
Some public universities require students who have an accredited bachelor’s degree from outside Turkey an international exam such as a GRE or GMAT and a foreign language certificate in addition to a specific rate in the bachelor’s and some others require only a specific rate in the bachelor and a foreign language certificate or without it and the conditions differ according to the university and all depend on the selection process Students according to the special conditions of international students. As for private universities, most of them only require a passing rate in the bachelor’s degree and accept the students directly without any comparison or entrance examination. As for doctoral programs in addition to the master’s requirements, obtaining a Turkish language certificate (TOMER) is required as a prerequisite, and student admission is evaluated according to the qualifications and terms of each university.

Specialization in Medical Programs
Specialization in medical programs is provided by medical colleges at universities and research hospitals of the Ministry of Health. Students who wish to study for a master’s, doctorate, or medical specialization must pass the amendment test and the TUS (medical specialty test) and students who wish to specialize in dentistry must pass the amendment test and the DUS (specialization in dental medicine) test.
